United Arab Emirates Visa FAQs

Certainly, all individuals holding Indian passports must obtain a visa when visiting Dubai. For Indians planning a trip to the UAE for leisure activities like holidays, sightseeing, or brief family visits, a Dubai tourist visa is the most suitable choice. The specific Dubai visa for Indian citizens you’ll need hinges on various factors, including your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the duration of your stay. Indian passport holders embarking on tourist journeys to the UAE can conveniently apply for a Dubai visa online. Once your Dubai tourist visa is approved for Indians, you will receive the official visa document via email.

Certain countries’ citizens are exempt from the need for pre-arranged visas when entering the UAE and can secure a Dubai visa upon arrival. Indian nationals holding a standard passport, along with a valid Visa, Green Card from the USA, UK, or EU Residency, are eligible to obtain a Dubai Tourist visa upon arrival, allowing them to stay for a maximum of 14 days. The US Visa, Green Card, UK Resident Permit, and EU Resident Permit must all remain valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in the UAE. The Dubai visa granted upon arrival is initially valid for 14 days and can be extended for an equivalent period once. Additionally, it is imperative that the passport’s validity extends to at least six months, and the entry permit fee amounts to Dirham 100 (Rs 1,750).
