Itinerary Details

Upon arrival at Zurich Airport, make your own arrangements for transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to unwind and recover from your long-haul journey. Check in to your hotel, settle in, and take some time to relax. Enjoy the convenience of an Indian dinner delivered to your hotel in a packed form for your comfort and convenience.

After breakfast, journey to Engelberg Town, the base station for the Mount Titlis cable car. Experience the TITLIS ROTAIR rotating gondola to ascend to the mountain station effortlessly. Explore the Swiss Lion shop, boasting the title of the world’s tallest watch store, at your leisure. Step into our photo studio and capture memories dressed in traditional Swiss attire.

Venture a snowball’s throw away to the glacier cave from the mountain station. Descend into the glacier’s mesmerizing depths through a tunnel of sparkling blue ice. Feel the exhilaration as you race down the slope on a snowtube or sled, creating a flurry of snow in your wake. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Lucerne for an orientation tour and a visit to the iconic Chapel Bridge. Explore Rome’s treasures, starting with the enchanting Trevi Fountain, a masterpiece designed by Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci. The majority of hotels in Europe only have twin beds.
All hotels will be either in or near the airport. The double bed will be a Queen, not a King.
Rollaway beds are typically used in triple rooms, and the third guest may have the same-sized room as the double guest. When a hotel doesn’t have enough rollaway beds for children with beds, they may provide a double and a separate single room.
A person is considered a child if they are under the age of 11 and an adult if they are over that age.
There might not be any fans or air conditioning in the hotel rooms. Hotel cooling and air conditioning systems are calibrated for European climates.
Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
During heat wave in Europe air conditioning of the hotels and coaches may cease to function as they are not built for such high temperatures.
In the majority of hotels in Europe, there are no tea kettles in the rooms.
Due to major international events and trade shows held all across Europe, such as the Air Show, music festivals, ice skating competitions, etc., you might have to stay in hotels further from the city.
In Switzerland, the stay could be divided between two hotels.
The passengers are responsible for paying for any damages made to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay.
You are asked to keep the coach clean since the majority of your travel throughout Europe will be via coach.
Using the restroom inside the bus is not allowed due to hygienic concerns. Nevertheless, on lengthy rides, the tour director will stop for comfort.
In the coach, food and beverages are not allowed.
There are restrictions on parking for coaches in major European cities, so it might not be possible to stop at every location throughout the city tour. • One check-in bag and one carry-on bag per person are allowed due to the limited boot room in the coach. Wherever possible, the tour manager will make every effort to stop the bus for a photo stop.
The coaches are not handicap accessible. The carriage has steps for boarding and exiting. The majority of your touring will be done on foot and by municipal buses, as private coaches are prohibited inside most European towns per EU regulations in order to protect them and prevent them from becoming dirty and overcrowded.
The drivers are bound by specific rules, like maximum driving hours within a day and during a week, rest period per day / week etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel, otherwise certain sightseeing schedules may be missed due to your actions / delays and the same will be non-refundable.
Due to the coach’s limited boot space, each passenger is permitted one carry-on bag and one handbag. In addition, because coaches are subject to parking regulations in many major European cities, it might not be able to stop at every location during the city tour. When it is feasible, the tour manager will stop the bus for a photo stop.
The coaches are not wheelchair-accessible. To get on or off the coach, there are steps.
Due to private coaches being forbidden inside most of the European cities; as per EU norms to preserve them and to avoid getting them polluted and overcrowded, most of your sightseeing will be done by local buses and by foot.
Meals are pre–set and a–la carte is not possible.
On some departures, we may occasionally change or reverse the route. All of the included services, however, will stay the same.
In general, you will have to walk for a considerable distance to tourist attractions, amusement parks, and airports; however, the Tour Manager will provide you prompt instructions on how far to go where. Carrying a nice pair of comfy sports shoes is advised. The driver and tour manager will make every effort to get you as close to the monuments as they can.
On some days, the Eiffel Tower may be closed because of a lot of people, a high wind, or security concerns. We reserve the right to alter or cancel any specific outings.
On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.
Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts and bag snatching. Happy Feet Tours will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
Disabled clients should carry their own wheelchair and should be accompanied by a qualified companion who is able to provide assistance to the disabled client.
Happy Feet Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
The Tour Manager and the company reserves the right to amend the itinerary, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all the services will remain the same.
There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour
All optional activities will have to be booked and paid to the Tour Manager on Day 07 of the tour. Payments to be made by cash in EURO only.
Optional tours are booked & paid on 100% non-refundable & non cancellation policy.
TCS & GST will be applicable for all optional activities pre-paid in India.

Tours operated are subject to RBI / GOI regulations. Part of the tour cost will be paid in EURO out of your BTQ at prevailing rate of exchange.
Anyone who provides you with a service, such as a coach driver, a local guide, a hotel or restaurant employee, etc., should be tipped. A minimal gratuity of EUR 3 per person/per day is required. The total tip amount for this 10-day tour is 33 euros per person, which must be given to the tour manager on the first day of the trip.
Any expenses of personal nature such as porterage, laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, minibar, telephone calls, etc.

Company solely reserves the right to publish group photographs of the clients taken during the tour.
We value and respect our staff(s), vendor(s), representative(s), employee(s) and tour manager(s) who work tirelessly to make your tour memorable and successful. You are requested to co-operate and support our staff(s), vendor(s), representative(s), employee(s) and tour manager(s) at all times during the tour and more particularly during exigencies and trying times, when our staff(s), vendor(s), representative(s), employee(s) and tour manager(s) would work hard to restore normalcy. During such times, we look forward to your understanding, patience and support to come out of the impasse. We have a zero tolerance policy against any abusive behaviour, wrong doing, misconduct and violence towards our staff(s), vendor(s), representative(s), employee(s) and tour manager(s) on tour. Any such action, omission, commission, wrong doing, misconduct, violence and abusive behaviour by you, towards our staff(s), vendor(s), representative(s), employee(s) and tour manager(s) shall be dealt with seriously leading to immediate disembarking/offloading of the Client from the tour including initiating appropriate legal proceedings against the Client at his/her cost and consequences, in accordance with the applicable law.

FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall be excused from the performance or punctual performance of any of terms and conditions / services / tour or part thereof as above, if the performance thereof is prevented or delayed by any cause beyond the reasonable control of the company, which shall include acts of God, riots, wars, accidents, embargo, terror attacks, coup strike, natural calamities or requisition (acts of government), or delays / negligence / carelessness in the performance of the independent contractors caused by any such circumstances as referred herein. Any additional cost incurred by the Company, for the services provided to the Client, during the Force Majeure event, shall be paid by the Client.

All dispute / complaints with respect to these terms and conditions and the tour and services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts at Kolkata only.
