Overview

The 8-Day Discover Turkiye Tour offers an immersive exploration of Turkey’s most iconic destinations, beginning and ending in Istanbul.

Over the course of eight days, you will visit Istanbul, once the capital of several empires; Ephesus, the most significant Greek city in Ionian Asia Minor, and the House of the Virgin Mary. The tour continues to Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its “cotton castle” terraces, and then proceeds to Konya, the hometown of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, where you will visit the Mevlana Museum. The journey concludes in Cappadocia, famed for its unique fairy chimneys, caves, and hot air balloon rides.

Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in the historic Old City. A welcome package including tour Itinerary, a map of Istanbul, and other essential information will be provided. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Istanbul Old City Tour

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Istanbul’s key attractions. You will visit Topkapi Palace, the former seat of the Ottoman government, and then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. The tour continues to the Blue Mosque, one of Istanbul’s most recognizable landmarks, followed by a visit to Hippodrome Square, the former center of Constantinople’s sporting and political life. Next, you will explore the Hagia Sophia Mosque, a former Eastern Orthodox cathedral. The day concludes with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s largest covered markets.

Day 3: Istanbul to Kusadasi

After breakfast, you will visit the Spice Bazaar and embark on a scenic cruise along the Bosphorus, sailing between Europe and Asia. Following the cruise, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 4: Ephesus Tour

Following breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for a tour of the Ancient Roman City of Ephesus. Highlights include the Arcadian Way, Roman Baths, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library, and the Antique Theatre. In the afternoon, visit the charming village of Sirince, known for its traditional houses. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

Day 5: Pamukkale & Hierapolis Ancient City

After breakfast, you will visit Hierapolis, an ancient Greco-Roman city situated atop natural hot springs. Explore the extensive necropolis, Great Baths, Frontinus Street, Theatre, Martyrion of St. Phillip, and Cleopatra’s Pool. Conclude your visit with a barefoot walk on the stunning travertine terraces.

Day 6: Kusadasi to Cappadocia via Flight

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for a flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival at Kayseri Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 7: Cappadocia Tour

You have the option to book an early morning hot air balloon flight for a breathtaking view of Cappadocia’s valleys. After breakfast, visit Devrent and Pasabagi Valleys to marvel at the unique fairy chimneys, followed by a visit to the pottery town of Avanos. After lunch, explore the Goreme Open-Air Museum, home to some of the best-preserved Byzantine cave churches and frescoes. The tour continues with a visit to an underground city, and concludes at Uchisar Castle, offering panoramic views of the region.

Day 8: Departure from Istanbul

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cappadocia Airport for your flight to Istanbul, and thereafter to your home destination.

Dynamic Pricing: Prices are calculated based on the current exchange rate, making them dynamic and subject to change.
Black-Out Dates: The rates are not valid during black-out dates.
International Check-in/Check-out: International check-in time ranges from 1400 to 1500 hours, and check-out time is from 1100 to 1200 hours. Early check-in and check-out are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Damages Responsibility: Any damages to hotel rooms or coaches during your stay are the responsibility of the passengers.
Tour Routing Changes: The tour routing may change on certain departure dates, and there is a possibility of a reverse itinerary. However, all mentioned sightseeing and excursions will be included.
Sightseeing Changes: Sightseeing and excursions may change due to factors like entrance availability, traffic, weather, etc.
Public Holidays: Some sightseeing and excursions may not operate on public holidays.
Liability: The Company does not accept liability for damages, baggage loss, injuries, accidents, breakdowns, or irregularities caused by various factors beyond its control.
Baggage Loss: Happy Feet Tours is not responsible for loss of baggage or belongings at airports or elsewhere.
Flight Timings: Clients should consider flight timings when reaching the airport. The company is not responsible for missed flights due to personal reasons, connecting flight issues, or airline-related factors.
Restricted Areas: Some areas or monuments may restrict vehicle entrance. In such cases, the vehicle will drop you at the nearest possible point, and clients must make further arrangements.
Additional Charges: Entrance fees, monument fees, and other activity charges are not included in the package unless specified in the inclusion section.
Peak Periods: The package may have different pricing during long weekends, national holidays, and regional festivals. Any cost difference will be communicated.
Surcharges: Any applicable surcharges will be advised during booking.
Hotel and Sightseeing Availability: Rates are subject to hotel and sightseeing availability at the time of booking. An alternate hotel of equal or higher standard may be used if necessary.

Airline Responsibility: The Company has no direct control over third-party services like airlines. In case of last-minute flight cancellations or reschedules, the company is not liable for any financial, emotional, or physical impacts.
